About Valley Classical Christian Academy
MISSION STATEMENT
Valley Classical Christian Academy is committed to educating students spiritually and academically with Christ as the cornerstone for the purpose of providing a solid educational foundation, which ignites a passion for lifelong learning, a heritage of faith and instills a sense of community, purpose and responsibility.
STATEMENT OF FAITH
- We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible authoritative Word of God.
- We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
- We believe that for salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
- We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
- As Christians, we believe and teach what Peter proclaimed in Acts 4:12, “Salvation is found in no one else (except Jesus), for there is no other Name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.”
CORE VALUES
- We believe the Valley Classical exists to introduce people to God and to encourage their growth into all that God intends.
- To create a habitation for the Holy Spirit. (Romans 8:9-11, 1 Corinthians 3:16)
- To educate and inform people of the dignity they possess as creatures made in God’s image and likeness, and to encourage them to understand and apply this truth in all aspects of their lives. (Genesis 1:27, Matthew 19:4)
To preserve and teach the faith once delivered to the saints, as declared by the Holy Scriptures and defined by the Apostles’ Creed. (Jude 1:3, 1 Timothy 3:16-17) - To discover, mentor and release future leaders by creating a loving environment that is highly literary and entrepreneurial and which celebrates the eternal qualities of truth, goodness and beauty. (Ephesians 4:11-12, Acts 6:1-7)
- To serve the universal Body of Christ through intercessory prayer and the sharing of our resources. (1 Corinthians 12:12-31, Galatians 5:13-14)
- To reproduce ourselves at home and abroad by establishing communities of faith which share our purpose, values, doctrine and community. (Matthew 28:18-20, Mark 16:14-20)
