Kindergarten - 8th Grade 2008-2009 Registration Information
The administration and board of trustees continually strive to maintain a reasonable tuition rate. We are able to do this primarily because of the wonderful contributions of our school families and friends to ACSTO. The donations made to this organization and other tuition organizations help VCCA to offset our tuition assistance program and more importantly the families of VCCA to offset their tuition responsibilities.
Application Fee: A non-refundable fee of $75 is required for each student at the time of registration; however, for continuing students registering after June 1st, a $125 non-refundable Application Fee will apply.
Materials/Activity Fee: The $375 fee includes administrative costs, use of textbooks and/or the purchase of curriculum materials, yearbook, student accident insurance, ACSI membership fees, achievement testing, field trips, transportation, art materials/supplies and any other enrichment not included in tuition.
Pre-Pay Tuition: For those who prefer, your one-time payment must be received by the first day of school; a 5% discount will be given on the tuition amount. This deadline applies to all fees including application, materials/activity and tuition.
Monthly Payment: Tuition payments will begin August 1, 2008 with 10 equal payments ending May 1, 2009. Payments are due on the 1st of each month and a late fee will be assessed of $15.00 if not received by the 10th of each month. The “Tuition Payment Plan Agreement” must be signed as a contract with the terms and conditions stated on the form. Statements will be mailed monthly, tuition payments can be mailed or payment made electronically through PayEasy. Rates and policies are subject to change.
Multiple Student Discount: For families with more than one child enrolled in our school, a 5% discount will be given to the first child, 10% to the second child, 15% to the third, and 20% for the fourth child. This discount applies to the tuition amount only.
Financial Assistance: When possible, Valley Classical Christian Academy offers financial assistance to families on the basis of need. We have enlisted an outside company (Family Financial Needs Assessment – FFNA) to process, evaluate and recommend financial assistance to those who make application. If you would like to apply for financial assistance, please pick up an FFNA application in the school office or apply online at www.ffna1.com. We would like to help as many families as possible; however, our funds are limited. Please send your application to FFNA by June 1st so that we can distribute the funds by July 1st and monthly payments can begin August 1st.
Tuition Rates:
- The 1/2 day kindergarten program covers the hours of 8:15 a.m. – 11:55 a.m. (Students may choose to stay for lunch recess and lunch until 12:40 p.m. at no additional charge).
- The Full day program covers the hours of 8:15 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.
- Students in both programs may arrive at 8:00 a.m. for a morning recess. All classes K-8th grade line up for opening chapel at 8:10 a.m.
- Extended care hours are from 6:30 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (billed monthly at $3.50 per hour)
